Psalm 121 - 17x10.5 pallet personalized

mara bochart design

Design mounted on hand-painted pallet board and protected with a textured, matte sealant. Sawtooth hanger on back for hanging or can be displayed on an easel. Final size: 17"x10.5".

About the artwork: In the background is a photo I took of the southern steps in Jerusalem for the Songs of Ascent or Psalms 120-134, which is about the Jewish people "going up" to worship - ascending to the Temple. I found a photo through "pxhere" of the hills that surround Jerusalem.

A Song of Ascents

1  I lift up my eyes to the hills.
    From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;
    the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all evil;
    he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
    your going out and your coming in
    from this time forth and forevermore.

Psalm 121 ESV
