In The Morning - journal

In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3 NIV

I realized, one morning, that I had been putting my daily agenda first before seeking the Lord. There was a longing just to be with Him, to gaze only upon Him. In this refreshing time with Him I was led to Psalm 5:3. 

Two hours later, I checked my email and amazingly there was a free, downloadable image with Psalm 5:3 on it!  Not a coincidence, but a personal response from my Lord and Savior who does hear our voices!

Photos of a closed and open sunflower reflect this verse. A sunflower faces east at dawn and greets the sun, then slowly turns west as the sun moves across the sky. Let us put Jesus first, in the morning, and throughout the day!
