Not only were the gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh given but the greatest gift of all - God’s gift to us - His Son,  Jesus Christ - Savior of this world!

Inspiration for this artwork came from my visit to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel. This holy scene was made real by its life-sized figures that were
clothed in rich fabrics. The elegant tapestry surrounds the altar above a fourteen-point star, which marks the spot where Christ was placed in a manger.

May we all receive a real and renewed Spirit of Christmas as we share His gift of love!
