Being surrounded by enemies David prays to God to keep him safe. I always thought that being in the shadow of our Father’s wings would be warm and soft. But as I was led in creating this piece, I felt the Lord’s presence while still being in a cold, lonely and hard place. In that rocky place, surrounded by chaos, confusion and opposition we are protected. We can peer out from the shadow and see the feather tips of His wings, the Glory and the Hope in any trial we go through!
